Travelex are at $1.788 today so it might be worth keeping an eye on that this week in case it goes any higher:Pinkbounc

I took a gamble on friday and bought the second lot of my currency from the post office, got 1.78 so I was pleased, compared to the last lot i changed which was 1.74.
STILL, better than last year 1.52!!

Agree with Jules, we were getting 150+ last year, most of this years money I have got 170+ so I cannot complain.

We all want the best rates but I am not going to worry if I buy at 1.76 and it goes up a point the next day.

Johhy, I agree to be honest im happy with the 1.78, it would be nice to get to the elusive $2, but im happy with my lot, compared to 2001 when we got 1.32, the rate at present makes a massive difference!

Hi everyone, just ordered my TC from M&S and Dollars from Travelex both at 178.0 so i am really pleased with that, although i would have loved the rate to go to $2 i got it all now incase it dropped.
