Can anyone share which sunblock they use on their child with excema in Disney? The ones we have tried so far just dry out DD's skin and cause more flareups.

Thank you!

I feel your pain! Our DD has eczema and we were on a quest to find the best one. We have found that Aveeno baby sunblock and Neutrogena spray does not make her skin flare up. The aveeno also comes in spray and thay is a Godsend because you have to really rub the cream in. They both work great. No burns and our kids are pretty fair.

First of all, the kids wear the rash guard shirts, to keep a little covered. That helps alot. And then we have found that the pure zinc oxide works well. It is a little messy at first but if you keep rubbing, it will absorb.

My DD 5 has excema and we use California Baby or Blue Lizzard sensitve..they are great and are not filled with chemicals!!

My daughter also has excema and we use Vanicream Sunscreen Sensitive Skin SPF 60. We actually use there moisturizing skin cream as well and it keeps her excema at bay. When her excema flares up we go back to her prescription cream until it clears up.

My son has FINALLY outgrown (for the most part) it but we used the NoAD "brand" for sensitive skin and it worked great. Side note, we always used Vaseline or baby oil after baths/ before bed. We only used one kind of laundry detergent (frag. free) and used no fabric softener. Keep going, it does get easier!:thumbsup2
