ex disney cm-book??

has anyone bought the book wriiten by an ex disney employee? its called "disney world vacation and savings 2006" by beth haworth. was just wondering if anyone has bought this book and is it worth it. she says there are secrets on how to save 100s of dollars. how did disney allow her to write this book?

There are all kinds of books that will tell you how to save money on a Disney vacation. One could skim over the DIS and gather enough material for a book of their own on how to do Disney "cheap." As long as she did not violate any confidentiality agreement or employment contract she signed while working at Disney, she can write whatever she wants.

I bought a copy and I really like it. True...much of the information is probably available through forums such as the disboards, but I like having it all together in an e-book that is constantly updated by Haworth with lifetime accessibility. The book is over 100 pages. So far, the tips on renting DVC points is VERY helpful because I am a novice to that whole procedure. With Acrobat Reader 7.0, the links she gives are live and that works reallly well. I saved the book to a CD for reference on my notebook computer and I printed off a copy to take with me to read this weekend. I feel the $19.95 is well worth the information, links and tips.
