I let my APH pass go, the mr kept his for the hotel discount.

Today i received a flyer in the mail, stamped extended through April 30, 2010. Im not sure if this is a new or even a good deal, haven't priced the passes lately & this is the first offer i've gotten in ages, just though i'd post for those who let their APs lapse & want to buy a new one.:goodvibes

Limited Time Offer
Come Back and Save up to $90 on a 2 Park Annual Pass
To Purchase: Visit Any Front Gate Ticket Window or call 1-866-PASS-4-FUN & refer to this mailing. note: there are no codes or anything specific i could find geared to individuals, so i assume it's valid for anybody who has had an AP in the past.

Options:
*2-Park Annual Power Pass $114.99 ($25 savings)
*2-Park Preferred Pass $149.99 ($70 savings)
*2-Park Annual Premier Pass $199.99 ($90 savings)

I replied because no one else did

I think we talked about this already :teacher:

:confused3i did a search...oh well, thought it was worth throwing back out there jik somebody else missed it.;) can't say i recall them offering it for long expired ones in the past...nice gesture imo

I wonder if new passholders could use this too.

i never thought of that:confused3

nor am i suggesting it, def would be a YMMV type of thing & not the original intent of U i'd hazard to guess

I think we will give them a call tomorrow and see. Can never hurt to call. DD's boyfriend needs one and we all have them already.

It says "Come Back"...so I'm guessing you had to already have had one.

I know those are the renewal prices if you already have an AP. Don't know that they'd SELL one at that rate...but, good luck when you call. Can't hurt to ask ;) Let us know how you make out.

In the fine print: To Purchase: Visit any front gate Ticket Window or Call 1-866-PASS-4-FUN. Please bring mailer to front gate window or refer to mailer when calling

There are no numbers, and nothing on the address either. Worth a shot I would say.

& i thought it odd there wasn't any sort of code, etc. to identify 'past passholder'...perhaps it is just a quiet way of churning some revenue:confused3

good luck damo, let us know

They probably would have the person's name in their system if you were at passholder at one time.

I just called Universal and asked if I was eligible since I hadn't had an annual pass in a few years (1995). She said I was definitely eligible.

But, the pass would be activated on the day I purchased it. Since I'm not going until August I told her I would call back by April 30 and purchase it then.

ETA: Once I priced this offer @cost per month it's actually better value if I wait until I go and purchase the preferred pass then.
$150/8=$18.75 vs $220/12=$18.33

My niece got one in the mail, but she is and has been a passholder. My sister is trying to figure out why it came & came in her name?? They have been passholders since 2000 and never let them expire :confused3

Thank you OP for posting this offer. I DEFINITELY worked. Just this morning i was deciding which pass to get.

My DH had an AP about 5 years ago. I just got off the phone. I asked if he was eligible for the comeback offer and they said yes so we renewed his for $149!! SUPER HAPPY saving $70!! Thanks again.:thumbsup2
