Greetings, my friends!
Sorry for the short absence, there, again!
I also loved your thoughts about friendship and true friends always being around, even when there is nothing unusual going on, and especially when one needs them, Linda and Elaine!
Sounds like you have a very busy and organized WDW schedule planned, Linda! It's great that you are going to get to do so many neat things, and that you are going to try some things that you have never experienced there before, too! And I'm glad to see that the EWP appears on your schedule more than once, of course!

Glad that you will be able to make it over to the Poly - please say "hello" to it, for me!
And I can't believe that your trip is also coming up so quickly, Elaine! Time really flies by, doesn't it? If you don't happen to have a lot of plans (yet!) during the beginning of your trip, maybe you should just take that time to relax and "reacclimate" yourself with the parks, resorts, etc. Just take some time to wander around and just do what you feel like, at the moment!
As of this Saturday, we have exactly 7 months till our WDW trip!

And this is what OUR schedule looks like, so far (hee hee!):
June 2: Arrive, "Hello" to MK, Dinner at 'Ohana
June 3: DMGM Studios, pool time, Dinner at Artist Pooint
June 4: Epcot, Le Cellier (?), pool time, Dinner at Citricos
June 5: Chef Mickey's, pool, AK (?), Dinner at California Grill
June 6: All day pool day, Dinner at Brown Derby, Fantasmic, hook up with Mike
June 7: Kona Cafe, MK, Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, SpectroMagic
June 8: Throw myself on the floor of the Poly lobby and beg them to let us move in there permanently, depart
Hey, it's never too early to make those preliminary plans, right?
Isn't it great to have to assess your wardrobe to see what still fits, before a WDW trip, Linda? I had to buy all new shorts and tank tops before our trip in June, since I had absolutely nothing that fit from last year! Good idea bringing your scale with you! But you won't need to - you'll be fine and do a great job, down there!
Right now, I'm back to my "gain 2 pounds, lose 2 pounds" thing. UGH. But at least it's a "lower" 2 pounds than the last time I went through this, so that's a little progress, I guess!

We've been going out to dinner a lot, lately, and those later-and-heavier-than-usual dinners out tend to get to me. As long as I keep losing those 2 pounds, I'm happy! Of course I'd be happier if the scale moved below those 2 pounds, but.....!
Boy, it sure got cold, here! It definitely feels like fall outside, now! And I hate that it's getting dark so early. But the leaves looks really pretty, now! Didn't it seem like it took longer than usual for them to start changing, this year? They're pretty much at their "peak" around here, now.
We went "down the shore" to visit my friends who live near Atlantic City, this past weekend. My friend's husband and one of her sons were away in Florida, so we kept her and her younger (toddler) son company, and she was also babysitting a friend's infant. Frank was adorable, playing with the boys - I think that he enjoyed their toys as much as they did! He is fantastic with children, which makes me feel even more confident than I already did that he will be a wonderful father some day (not too soon, though! We'll get there, eventually!

). It was a nice visit. We have some busy weekends coming up, including 2 excursions to NYC, so hopefully I will have some more "eventful" news to report, soon!
I enjoyed seeing your DIS meet pictures, too, Elaine! You always take such great pictures! I can't wait to see all of the ones that you are going to take at the DIS CON (hint, hint!)!

Seriously, it's so nice that you post them all for everyone to see!
I'm going to make your salsa chicken for dinner again tonight, Linda! Actually, I should get going on that, now.
Hope that all is well with all of you! Have a nice day and talk to you soon!
