Free at last, free at last, thank God, I am free at last!!
Guess you can tell that my dear bil took Tom for a couple of days. I had a load of chores planned during this time but somehow life has other plans. A dear friend needs to go to the doctor up in Indy tomorrow so I am taking her, Dalton needs picking up after school every day so that he can go to work. The little devil is turning into a miser. As fast as cash goes through his brother's hands it clings to his. He hides it over at my house so that it does not get "accidentally' picked up by someone else and he has quite a stash. He is working the scoreboard at the ballgames @ $5 a game and some nights he can garner $30. Maybe I should not have told him that he would need to put away approximately $100 a month for the next few years in order to have something decent (my car) to drive when he is 16?
Lisa, I just love all the 'small' trips that you guys make. You are wise to get out and about and see it all while you may. I feel for those who put such things off until they retire and it is usually too late. You will have a blast, but then you usually do any old where.
LL, you must have been on a roll the night you got tagged, twice!! I should start hanging out where you do just to be entertained.
I have a doctor's appointment myself Friday. I hope they can do something to make my quality of life better. It has come to the point where I can barely do much of anything. Case in point, I throw the comforter down the stairs because I cannot carry it, rest a bit, put it in the washer, then the dryer. Take it out and lay it on the pool table, rest a bit, fold it, rest and then later I have to crawl up the stairs, one step at a time to get it back upstairs. No joke, folks. Oxygen is on the horizon.
For good news - Becki's husband just made sergeant on the local police force. Hooray for Mark!!! Things could not be better for a nicer family.
Austin and his date were plumb beautiful. Here is a picture. They asked if they could take their pictures in my yard as it was all a bloom, not that you can tell in this picture but I thought you all might like to see the kids rather than the flowers.
Hugs to all you dear ladies, Linda Lou
