Everything Pins!

I should take more recet photos.

I can't wait to go to WDW, to get more. I want some more Piece of Disney History pins. I hope they get a Soarin' one out.

Imma give up pictures for y'all. It took 21 pics to get them all and I'm still missing some. A few are elsewhere in my house and need to be found and brought to a central pin location. I also need more locking pin backs because I have several Alice in Wonderland pins not located on my bag. Pardon the crappy pictures.

I think my favorite pin is the one where the croc has Capt. Hook on his nose. The crocs mouth opens and shuts.

I love moving pins. I think they're so much fun. A Few of mine open and on my Thanksgiving one (I think it's in the first shot...) the turkey moves up and down.

And one of my x-mas ones lights up.

I don't have any that light up, but I love the dangle pins and hinged pins. You actaully have some of the same ones I have. :)

I noticed that. Some of mine are really common and then others I've never seen in anybody else's collection.

Some of mine are kinda common, but the one that really isn't is the 10 years of magic from Disney Hilton Head. This one was given to me by a Hilton Head cast Member and they were the only ones to get that pin.
It is the pin that is on the thread set of pictures , 3rd row on that page and farest to the right in that row.

I went to the Disney Character Warehouse and the pins that are worth like ten dollars are just 3.99 why is that???

They are really NOT expensive and mickey dolls thst cost $15 at disneyland only costs $5 at the store.

I would love to start pin collecting but its a bit expensive for my taste. Maybe one day when i get old and have money and kids i'll start collecting...

I found a really pretty alice in wonderland one i wanted back in November...but alas my father said no since i got ears already...

They are expensive so whenever I go to WDW I save money and I get maybe about 3 or so. But you are right they are expensive. Some of the pins that I have were my moms or giving to me by cast members.

ah thats a good idea hahah save money!

I serriously never think of brining my own money when i go to disneyland (because i never get to go to WDW) My mom usually gives me like $10 a day and i can get a snack or save it for the next day...I'm bigger on the ears then pins i guess...the last few trips i've made sure to get ears...Maybe i should switch to pins...

Is there anywhere in the world where you can get cheap pins? My first trip to Disney is in 5 days and I want to get into pin trading without spending a fortune!

you can get sets on e-bay pretty cheap, but you have to watch out for fakes because people won't trade for fakes and cast members sometimes check if they're fake or not. They also won't trade them.

Make sure that they're authentic, but you can usually get a fairly large set on e-bay for not that much. That's where I get my trading pins from. I usually buy sets that younger kids tend to like so that when I trade with a cast member they at least end up with a pin that will likely be traded off to a younger kid instead of getting a junk pin that probably won't ever see another owner.

When you get to WDW, go to the emporium and buy a set of 7

they are about $4.30 a pin, and it's a good idea since cast members can't refuse a trade if a pin is cheap

Why trade away a $7 pin if you can trade away a $4.30?

And don't worry about the CMs having bad pins... They can go into a massive pin room in the MK tunnels and refill their pins!
