Oh, Jade...I hope you don't have to b/c I know how much you've been planning and scheming! But I totally understand. We had to postpone our trip last year for 10 mos! My girls were understanding and disappointed both at the same time. But it made our trip that much more special when we did go finally. I thought for awhile that we wouldn't be able to get AP's this year, but we got an unexpected bonus...almost exactly (to the penny) what we needed. Sometimes we need to let go of our dreams so they can come true.

i was thinking could i cut back day in oct and still do dec. and im ordering food from vons or albertsons. yes were doing goofys and minies but ones a bday meal ones my dhs pick lol

I know exactly what that is like, I have HAD to do it at some point or other but it was ok because I was at DL and would cut back on anything I had in order to keep me from missing ...Ive even gone when I was sicker than a dog and drove the whole 5 hours myself but your right...just calm down...dont panic on presumption....wait till you know something for sure before you get yourself all worked up...I used to be the same way girl....its not worth the headaches

Jade, I hope everything is okay! Don't worry though, if you do end up postponing - we just had to and I have to say, I am very glad we did! My son is still sick and his ears hurt, so it would have been a nightmare.

If you do end up postponing, you are still going this year and Christmas is a great time to go to DL! You could still do DL for Halloween next year if you get APs in December.

It will all work out the way it's supposed to in the end!

You will be able to see things clearer and make the best choice for you and your family.

This sounds like a situation where an AP may end up costing you more than what it's worth. If you buy your AP now you will feel obligated to return just to get your moneys worth. If you are unsure about your financial future it could be a costly gamble if you cannot return and you end up spending extra $ on APs that you could have spent on other things, or you go into debt on another trip trying to get your moneys worth out of your APs. I'd do the Oct trip (if you can really afford it) since you have $ vested in it already with the MTOT tix, and other stuff you have already paid for. Then when you return, see where you stand financially and see if you can afford another trip. Atleat at that point you won't feel obligated to return.

well after much talk if nothing changes no job comes though or what not we will do just oct.

next dec we will try to get aps. if nothing else we will just wait another year and get aps cristmas of 2010 but thats what we will do if nothing works out. there is no way with out this job coming though we could do dec.

but im still praying and instead of worrieing (sp) i went to amazon and looked for home schooling books. much cheaper then getting a whole years worth of books from some big company one i wanted cost 600.
but these even have tests and full month to month plans and well it just looks better then what i had planed.
So i was trying to stay busy and let my self calm down. it did help alot and I finely ate a ham and chess sub i made. so at least i ate

i hope everything works well for you guys.

since we live so far away, we can only get to DL the most once a year. if it weren't for DH's conference paying for his airfare/hotel, we wouldn't have been able to go this year.

i would be sad, too, if i had planned and planned and got all excited about it only to have it compromised.

hopefully you can still go to both and take lots of DL holiday pictures for the rest of us to see.

Hopefully, the situation will change and you can still go in Dec. but if you only get to go in Oct. at least you have already paid for the halloween party tickets and will get to take your son for his birthday. So he will still be happy and I bet you will too! Just keep reminding yourself that one trip is better than none!
