So how early do you mean? When you go to WDW sometimes discount rates come out after the fact and you can maybe rebook under that code.Does anything happen like that on the DCL?

I suppose this is possible... :smooth: :bitelip:

I have never seen it though... You should book as early as you can... Once you know your dates, and the rates are available.

They work in tiers. So, that is to say, that as soon as a tier is full, it goes up to the next pricing.

Seeing as they currently only have two boats, the sail at full or nearly full capacity. The need to discount just isn't there.....

We always book while onboard. It is the best price I can find.

Also, we booked December 2006 this past Janaury while onboard. That's almost 2 years ahead.

For DCL "Early" is about a year ahead of time.

Based on what has happenned in the past, if Disney makes special offers AFTER you've booked your cruise, you can just call them up and get them to apply the special to your booking.

I booked our first cruise two weeks ago. We sail in September 2006. I figured the more time we have to save and plan, the better. My TA (from AAA) said that if lower rates come through we will get those so there was really no reason not to book early. Plus, early booking discounts apply.

So Can You Book For 2007 Now?

No, you cannot book for 2007 yet although you can book for the latest date in 2006, then fax your request to transfer to a 2007 date when the bookings open up. This is especially helpful if you want a Cat. 1 or 2. HTH

I booked in October 2003 for our April 2005 cruise (18 months in advance!)... but it's almost here... 5 weeks from tomorrow!
