EVERYONE remembers their "FIRST TIME"TR by Timandlesley 11/27 Day5 pg.18

You're such a talented writer and I'm so happy that you got to experience a trip of so many "firsts"!

One thing I'm curious of, (and sorry if you've mentioned it before), but when you took personal days off, did you let people know it was for a vacation? I'm just interested how they reacted.

Keep up the great work!

I used all 3 of my personal days so this trip could happen and it was SO worth it.
I always use my annual personal days for Disney! And you're right... SO worth it!
They provided free dinner AND breakfast and a great shuttle to the airport on the 23rd as well as parked our car included in the low rate
Wow... nice deal!!

Awesome shots of PURE joy! Lauren looks a lot like you in these pictures!

So I convinced the family to bail at the Poly and we took our carryon’s upstairs to the monorail and just rode the monorail over to the Contemporary resort
This is the brilliant idea of a Disney expert!:thumbsup2

I took this picture of me in the elevator on the way up, can you tell I was walking on air!?!
::yes::

Wow Wow Wow! As if you needed any more reason to be completely happy!

The pictures from the room are awesome! I love the layout of the bathroom/kitchenette.. it makes so much more sense! I'm so happy you and your wonderful family got to experience BLT! Thanks for sharing with us!

So now that we had explored the room we were READY to hit the parks. So we headed back to the magical talking elevator to take the bridge back over to the monorail and head to Epcot

Ok, so I LOVE being able to walk to Epcot from BWV or BCV... but hopping on the monorails without having to leave your resort.. awesome!!

Hey.. that pose looks familiar! Doesn't it just capture how you feel?!?!

Tim was ready for his mission:

Hilariously entertaining, as usual!!

Then we ducked into Innoventions and stumbled upon Sum of All Thrills the BRAND NEW attraction. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

Matt and I are so excited to scope this out in a few weeks! How long did you have to wait to do it?! How many robot arms were there? We know Tyson is just going to LOVE it!

I love the shelf full of inspirational "knick knacks"... like you are a real imagineer!!

What’ s fun is, while your loved ones are riding, you can see their monitors too (they are by the CM’s running the ride) so we could watch Tim and Lauren’s faces on the monitors.
Did you have to sneak a peek at these monitors? Or were they pretty easy to see by everyone?

So, if you are keeping track of our Disney “first times” so far this trip:
I am loving this list! What a fun way to keep track of all the new things you did!:thumbsup2

He found some shades and I found a new purse

I can't wait to get my new Disney purse in just a few weeks!!:woohoo:

“congratulationos Mousegears CM’s, another Million dollar week last week!” WOW, they sure do make a lot of money in that store! I questioned why they had that poster in plain view for all to see when the door opened
Not surprised that the pulled in a million dollars, but I agree.. why would they put that somewhere that guests could possibly see it?!:confused3
Love it! Did you buy it?!

She got a pretty one with pink accents, here they are measuring her pearl:
Do you have a picture of the pearl or the finished necklace?

Oh, Lesley.. you have such a little performer on your hands!

Hi, Lesley! I'm here and so excited that you've started the report!
What a great beginning! Y'all definitely started off with a bang! As I was reading your report, I thought about how awesome it would be to vacation with you guys...you're so much fun!!!
Keep it comin'...can't wait to read more!!!:thumbsup2

Wonderful 1st day! BLT looks beautiful and the convenience of the monorail is super! Looking forward to reading more..... :goodvibes

I am going to make reservations to eat at this restaurant for our spring break trip right now!

It was SUCH a beautiful night, I can’t even describe it and this photo doesn’t do it justice:

... but I can tell... I can... it looks heavenly!:cloud9:

We dreamed of moving to Orlando and being able to hop to the parks at night and just relax in the World Showcase

We'll be right there with you guys! But you'll have to wait for us, as we'll need to get off our our shifts as CMs!

We had the monorail completely to ourselves!!!
:woohoo:WOO HOO!! We LOVE when that happens! I bet that doesn't happen too much in the summer....

While Tim and I were laying in bed around 10:10 we heard music coming from outside, we went out and got to see the entire Electric Water Pageant from our balcony, it was great!
What a special moment!

The weather was outstanding, it was our first time being in the parks at the peak heat time of the day and not breaking a sweat which does wonders for your overall experience and energy level.
I SO completely agree with this statement! You can't beat going to Disney when it's cooler out!

-Rockin’ the Coaster as a Family First!
Oh my gosh! Lauren rode RNR?!?!?!

Drinking our way around the World
We BETTER be gettin' some great pictures out of this adventure!

PAGE 4!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where have I been? Your trip looks so wonderful so far!:cloud9: I cannot wait to read the rest. We are leaving in 4 days and I had that tingly butterfly feeling of pure excitement while looking at your pictures. Isn't it amazing that you can go to Disney over and over and still find so many new things to do? My mom asked me what we were going to do this year since we just went last year? How do you even answer a question like that? I think we could go 10 times and still find new stuff. And doing the old stuff all over again is pretty good too!

BLT looks wonderful! Maybe one day we can stay at a monorail resort. We are staying at PC this time but I am just happy to be going so no complaints here. But BLT really looked awesome!

How was the humidity? I know the temps were nice, but was the air sticky?

Wow! That is an awesome first day! Seeing the BLT pics have me saving my pennies in hopes that we can buy into there. I love that t-shirt! Did ya get it?

What a fabulous first day!! I'm so excited, we are on 35 day mark!!:cool1:
Bay Lake looks super!
We'll have to try Sum of all Fears, from what I read it sounded similar to the one at Disney Quest, but your pics really helped to understand how it works.

I love reading your trip reports. I lurk for the most part.. BLT looks amazing and I cannot wait to try Sum of all Thrills in March...

LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pics!! You do such a great job making us feel like we are right there with you!! Cannot wait for the next update!! BLT looks amazing!

I've been anxiously awaiting for this TR. They have been so much fun to read, almost as good as being there.

Your children are so cute & I can't wait to see the Halloween pics. :flower3:

Another great start to your trip! Read your last two reports and subbing in on this one...

I am also in! Read your last report and can't wait to hear about this trip. And Lauren looks awfully comfortable in that car -- you may want to hide the keys at home.

I'm in, too!

I was so excited to not only see you started a new trip report, but those pics of BLT blew me away!! We have 24 more days until we get there, and we're booked in a Lakeview Studio, as well. I can't wait to see it in person!!
How were the crowds? We were there for the two weeks preceeding your trip last year (10/11 - 10/25) and it was INSANE - definitely the most crowded October trip I've ever had!

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this (sadly! :sad1:), but are you guys going to be able to make it to DAP??
