Everyone Need to be There to Buy Activated AP's?

I'm planning on buying activated AP's at the airport. Can I just buy two of them for my DBF and I while he gets the luggage or does he need to be there too?

I think you will both have to be there. We have bought them at the gate before and both times they ask if we were all present and then passed the tickets out to each individual. I don't know why it would matter though, since you may be required to show id the first time you use them.

Only if he's under 10 years old.

They will need to see both your and his ID. Let him show them his ID first then he can take off and head to baggage claim while you get yours.

Besides, he doesn't seriously think that the bags will beat him to the baggage area, does he? LOL!
