Wow! Thank you all so much! What a great community we have here. I ended up getting to go to the funeral, and I'm so glad I got to go -- the family time to mourn was badly needed, and the chance for reality to set in was needed as well. Aunt Mary will be sorely missed. I loved her a lot, and it still doesn't seem real.

Now on to a happier note. Today was my first day back teaching after being gone 3 days, and my high schoolers actually missed me. We spent the day going over all the material I left for them, and as a reward for being so good while I was gone and for working so hard, they got the weekend off from homework! They were even happier that I was back when they heard "no homework"!

OK and on to an even HAPPIER note: I'm going to work on ALL design requests tonight after I have dinner with my sister and her family! I know you're all happy since I've left the designs alone for almost 2 weeks now! Whoops!

delmar411, the shirt looks great! Now, can you share step by step instructions on how you did it if it isn't too much trouble? I've tried iron ons from my ink-jet printer before with dismal results. I'm so worried I'm going to screw up my t-shirts again!

Sure, no problem!

I used the wilton easyimage t-shirt transfers (10 for 9.99 @ Michaels minus 50% cpn so 4.99 for 10 sheets).

Printed on those papers and cut the excess paper off around the design

I set my iron on cotton (#6 on my iron) and let it heat up for about 10mins

ironed the shirt before doing the transfer

then placed the transfer down and started at the left top 3rd and held the iron down for 30secs

fully lifted the iron up and moved it over to the top middle 3rd (overlapping the part I already ironed) and held it down for 30secs

fully lifted the iron up and moved it over to the top right 3rd (overlapping the part I already ironed) and held it down for 30secs

fully lifted the iron up and moved it over to the bottom right 3rd (overlapping the part I already ironed) and held it down for 30secs

fully lifted the iron up and moved it over to the bottom middle 3rd (overlapping the part I already ironed) and held it down for 30secs

fully lifted the iron up and moved it over to the bottom left 3rd (overlapping the part I already ironed) and held it down for 30secs

then I lifted the iron and set it around the edges for 15secs at a time making sure to fully lift it up between moves

then I held the iron down on any part that didn't look like it was fully 'cooked' for 10 secs at a time.

then left the transfers to cool for a couple mins

then slowly peeled from one end...I cut it in a rounded shape so that there would be no sharp corners to mess the peeling off part up

and TA-DA! A shirt!

We're also going to the Very Merry Christmas Party this year. Is there any chance you could make Mickey ears with the characters dressed for Christmas, the Very Merry Christmas Party logo in one ear and 2008 in the other ear? I didn't see anything in your photobucket.
