Loved tonights show - and I havne't been thriled this year at all - I thought it was some of the best work they've done in a long time.

BTW - Does Peter Boyle look and sound ill? TThere was something about him tonight that looked wrong.

Great show tonight! Ray's 'stand up routine'/toast, was the best!

Peter Boyle had some health issues early in the season or, during the off season (can't remember exactly). He's looked and sounded that way all season.

Great show tonight. Ray's toast was great, had tears in my eyes. Boyle looked like he was pushing his lines I did notice that he looked different. Especially the scene in the bathroom. Amy really nailed her mother.

I just finished watching it and loved it. I agree that it was the best episode this year and that this year was a bit weak otherwise.

LOVED the episode... DH and I also noticed Boyles appearance. Actually, we noticed his appearance awhile ago (he seems to have aged years in a short period of time) and we also noticed (more recently) that his speech isn't quite right. I hope he's okay.

I thought the episode was great and I agree with what others have said about this season not being that great. I did notice that something didn't look right about the father. His voice sounded different and he looked sick.

I did notice though Peter looked thin in his face. Doesn't he have a heart ailment? I hope he's not sick again!

This show is a masterpiece - right up there with my alltime fave - All In The Family

maybe it wasn't a boo boo? Being that the show is all about nothing going right, maybe it was on purpose to add more comedy to the situation? Just a thought.

I read that Raymond (his real name escapes right now) is the highest paid tv actor ever now with his new contract of $50 Million per season.

Higher than Frasier and Friends Cast.

Ray was in where I work last week. I work at a casino near Toronto and Raymond, Fred Savage and Gene hackmen are filming a movie a few minutes from the casino. I missed it of course, I was so mad. I left work at 7 and they were in a few hours later. I do love that show.

I did notice that Peter Boyle's voice sounded a little raspy. I loved Amy's open mout gape during Marie's little speech. Also, loved it when her mother told Marie that she should leave. Ray's speech was great.
