Ever wonder where the got the idea for the E.T. ride?

According to one of the many guidebooks I have read (theyre all running together at this point) spielberg and the other creators of the E..T. ride used this book in their design of the ride. I'd be curious to hear if anyone has read it and can let us know what they thought.

don't know but what a great idea.

We have just managed to borrow a copy of the E.T. movie so that DS 12, and DD 9 could watch it before our trip to UO, still have MIB and Mummy to watch and we should all be ready to go!
