Ever won Online contests ?

I was 1 of 25 winners of the AOL Expedition Everest sweepstakes this year!

I won $500 from a contest at Clubmom.com when they first started out.

Not online, but I did win 2 commemorative basketballs from Fred Meyer when they had an in-store contest.

I also won a plain oak mirror at a school raffle.

My sister won 2 tickets to a Frank Sinatra concert years ago and took me with her. :thumbsup2

Hey, somebody has to win. That is why I enter, but usually when no purchase is necessary.

My mom's a big contest person, both online and otherwise, and a few years ago she entered me in one sponsored by Colgate. I think the grand prize was like $25,000 or so, which I didn't win, but I did win a year's supply of Colgate products...for a family of four. I'm single, so I had dental products coming out the wazoo, but it was nice never to have to worry about running out! :thumbsup2 Come to think of it, I still have a couple of SpongeBob and Barbie toothbrushes around here somewhere.

We've won a lot:cool1:

Ipod
Camcorder
Portable DVD Player
Wheel Barrel (not one of the better prizes)
Shrek Beach Blanket
$1500 gift card to E Toys
Random checks for like $5.00 or $10.00

I think that's it. DH enters on-line contests all the time!!

Jenny:)

I once won a PS2 well before they went on sale. The UPS guy came a knockin' one day and had a package for me, I hadn't ordered anything so I was leary but I signed for it and opened it up... wow, I thought a PS2, from who?!?! Then I got freaked out because as it turns out a friend of mine from schools husband had been involved in an EBAY scam with PS2's so I thought oh no now he's sending them through my address. I tried to call the place it was shipped from no answer, UPS said it was to me from a contest location so I kept it. About two months later a letter from PEPSI shows up saying they hope I liked the prize I won from their contest which I never recalled entering but we still play it to this day and I'm happy we won it.

I won a TV once when I was like 6 at a fair, some door prizes and oh yeah Enrique Iglesias tickets back in like 2001 when he was really big and I was in love...lol. Of course DFiance is convinced I won because we knew the DJ from the radio station but I still believe it was luck.

DH and I just got back from a trip I won from Maybelline/CMT. It was a trip to Las Vegas, which included airfare, transportation once we were in Las Vegas, 2 nights at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, full spa treatments for both myself and DH, tickets to a concert, breakfast each day and $250 spending money. When we made the arrangements I casually told them that we wanted to extend our stay because we wanted to drive to California to go to Disneyland and they let us fly into Vegas and fly back home from LAX. They gave us a travel allowance and it paid for the rental car. So, DH and I were gone for a week and all I was out was 2 extra nights at Vegas and 3 nights in Anaheim and thanks to Hotwire I had great rates. We used old WDW passes at Disneyland so the trip was cheap. DD wasn't too pleased with us since the trip was only for 2 but DH and I had a great time.
2006 was a good year for me contest wise. We won the trip, I also won a years supply of Viva Papertowels (You should have seen the DHL driver that day) also from Philosophy I have a bottle of bath gel that comes every month for a year, I won a gift bag from Sally Hansen that had wonderful selection of products and a couple of other smaller wins.
Earlier in the year I had knee surgery so I was homebound for awhile. I entered a bunch of contest online. So, Yes, it can be done. I have never won an instant win though.

I won a trip to Super Soap Weekend from ABC.com last year; a $25 gift card to J.C.Penny from Trumps Apprentice website; and a trial subscription to Adventures Magazine from Disney Movie Rewards site.

I won a photo story book thing from Snapfish last year.

I won an all expenses paid trip for 2 to West Palm Beach for Braves Spring Training about 7 years ago. I also won tickets to the 1997 World Series.
