We are from Ontairo and twice during one trip we saw people we knew; someone that DH workedwith and a reporter from the paper. It really is a small world!

I was in MGM last August. I knew one girl from work who was travelling the same time as I was. Here I am crossing the street and heard my name called. I stopped and turned around and there she was!!! I couldn't believe the odds of us being in the same park on the same day at the same time!!! :dance3: :dance3:

Last August we met a co-worker of mine in front of The American Pavilion at Epcot (I knew he was in Orlando but no idea what parks he was going to be at).

I ran inot 6 people in one trip 3 of which I helped plan out their trips not the dates but their itinerary for the trip they were planning. My DW couldn't believe that we went all the way to Disney and I still managed to see people I knew. I even ran into a guy I hadn't seen since I was in grade 8.

Yep! We ran into the mother of a friend!!! Didn't know she was at WDW with my friend's sister and her family!!! :rotfl:

Last time we were in DisneyWorld, 3yrs ago, we seen a family from our community, we knew they were going but never expected to run into them! :)

last september we met a large groupe of DIS'rs at POP and then met a lady that went to school with my DW while eating supper at Hollywood & Vine

Whenever we go during Jersey week, we see many people from home. We went in Sept. this year(free dining) and we saw no one we knew, we thought that was kinda weird.

no but i am going to see someone i know this time, i can just feel it! i will even go so far as to predict that i will run into said person at Downtown disney on...tuesday night of my trip. LOL ;o)

We ran into old friends who had moved out East and we hadn't seen in a long while. We figured there was only a a 6 hour window of possibilty that we could have seen them, and we didn't even know they were there at Disney at all. It was quite a shock!!

On the same trip, we ran into casual friends in the bus line at the POP. She was right in front of me, and I was actually admiring her carry bag . . . when I looked up, I recognized her face . . . weird!!!

I bet that I am going to "run into" someone I know too! Did you get my email about us CANCELING our second week!

We were sitting on the Monorail (the front car) no one else was there except us and in walks a patient of mine. I could not believe it, what are the chances of that happening? I had no idea that she was going to be there either! :)

Yep, last time we were on the bus at downtown disney, and this man said hi Fiona as he was getting off at Pleasure Island. I was confused because he kept his hat down over his eyes, then his lovely wife followed, and I figured out he was the best man for my sister and brother in laws wedding (25 years ago), but they were gone before we could talk. What a surprise!

When we were at Disney in May of 2005 we ran into friends from my son's hockey team on Kali River Rapids and other friends from Newfoundland in the Magic Kingdom. We didn't know either group was going to be there. It is such a small world!

Whenever I travel for work I always run into someone I know from home (Winnipeg), usually in an airport or restaurant. This also happens often when we vacation (when we've been in Edmonton, Canmore, Regina, Minneapolis, just off the top of my head). Winnipeger's seem to like to travel :teeth:

When we were down at WDW in January, we ran into friends we hadn't seen for about 3 years who I used to work with who had moved to Maryland and then London, Ontario! The wierd thing (besides being in line for The Magic Carpets of Alladin at the same time) was they were there for their first time and were leaving on a cruise the next day.Talk about pixiedust: !

When we were at the Magic Kingdom in March 2005, we got caught in a torrential downpour and ran into Pecos Bill's to grab a bite.

And who was sitting at the table next to us but our friends who were also at WDW for the week (we actually had dinner plans with them for the next night). We were all amazed to have run into each other like that. The next day at MGM we ran into other friends of our family not once, but on two separate occasions! It truly is a small world....
