Ever receive a discount code AFTER making ressies?

We are planning a trip Jan 2010. I know it is too soon for discounts & codes. Any chance we could get a discount code AFTER making the ressies?

Most of the time I don't get an email code when I've already booked. But usually there is always a general public discount code. Even though you already made a reservation if a discount becomes available just call Disney with the discount code and they will switch it for you. Most discounts for January come out in late fall (early November).

Are you asking about a public discount code, or a private PIN code? If talking about public codes - you will not have a problem having that code applied to your reservation, as long as there is availability at that particular resort. If talking about PIN codes - I haven't the foggiest as I've never even gotten one before I booked a trip.

I changed to a pin code deal after making a first reservation. I initially booked the 4/7 deal, but DH had reservations about taking a whole week off of work. A week or so later, we got the kids play,stay, and dine free pin code, and I called and the price/day was actually less, and we only needed a 3 night minimum stay. Called, gave the pin code, and the CM put me on hold for about 10 minutes and changed everything. Pins are usually some of the best deals around. I hope we get one for our November trip.

Yes, you can still get a code after any reservation if you are lucky, then just call back and have it applied to your existing reservation.
