Ever look at a new pin and think - HUH?

Have you ever heard about a new pin coming out and you get all excited because you think it will look cool.. only to see it and think "What the heck were they thinking when they designed that one?!?"

It took me a good day to realize that the 2002 Spring Break pin that was hanging on the racks down at WDW this weekend weren't the Back to School pins from last year! They look so much alike and they could have done so much with that topic!

So if you could "redesign" a pin that has already been released.. what pin would it be and what would it look like?

I was so excited about the snowglobe pins, but they are U G L Y!! They have no detail at all, just blobs of color...what were they thinking? These could have been the most beauty[/Iful highly detailed pins! I didn't even buy the Beauty and the Beast one! Can you believe that?

I didn't mond the snowglobe pins, but they should have had a round plastic bubble as the globe part and a 3D underneath!

For me -- The DL HM bride pin. It's a very well made pin. But they should have emphasized her more. At least have swiling hair and get rid of one side of attic luggage, or at least put those more in the background. I was really anticiapting this pin coming out when I first heard about it, and I made sure I had it. This is a nice pin, but I've certainly seen better.

the subtle difference in the Back to School and Spring Break pins...so much...that I put them together in my book....they're fun to look at like that...notice what Pluto has in his mouth, the direction Mickey is "moving"...how the sun looks, etc etc...there are lots of little changes.

the pin I have most recently been disappointed with is the Tarzan Rocks LE pin..I LOVE the show (as my boa brigade friends will attest;-) but Tarzan on that pin is a SHRIMP... not even half an inch long..I can barely see him. I kept one for my collection, and returned the rest...

When they did the Resorts for 2000, then came out with the Est. Series , I think they could have made the Est Series with a different design...was kind of the lazy way out how most were exactly as the 2000 pins.
AND
Space Mountain #161....the bldg is such an icon in and of itself...I think the pin should have been bigger and had more white like the exact bldg. You can hardly see the the car with Mickey!

Gallery Magical Moments Mulan Poster #1199 it was a beautiful movie and the poster is dark and scary to me!
