Ever have an "end of the world" dream?

I had one last night in which I was in a large arena-type place with my dh and the walls started to cave in. I knew in the dream that it was the end for everyone.
Have you ever had a dream like that?

Not for the entire world, but I have had disaster dreams where major floods, hurricanes, tornados etc have hit and it devastated that region.

Been tense over something lately?

I have - it was (when did George Orwell or someone predict the end of the world? 1993 ??? ) I had been really nervous about it (I was young, forgive me) And had this awful dream - that nuclear bombs were going off, and all the fallout was coming down and I couldnt breath, at all! I woke up that January 1st morning with the most horrible asthma attack.

One puff of my inhaler and I was fine. Then I peeked outside to make sure everything was good and still in tact, flipped on the news, all seemed well....and went back to bed.

I did the same thing, about flipping the news on, quickly upon awaking on the 1st day of 2000, too.

I had one once. I was in my car driving down the road and two missles went flying overhead. Then everything went black and I could hear myself breathing, very freaky.

Since 9/11 i have a lot of airplane style end of the world dreams. It's usually planes flying over-head dropping bombs, if not crashing into something.

In these dreams I can't find or contact BF.

What's strange is that I always find him safe and sound before I wake up. I hope this is a good omen!

I had one when I was younger. I was walking in the courtyard of the apartment complext where we lived. It was all dusty and there were papers flying everywhere. Everything was gray.

Years later, it looked exactly like NY on 9/11. Not that I think it was a "premonition"....I think it's more a testament to how NY looked like my dream of the end of the world on 9/11. When I saw video of the smoke and papers everywhere, it immediately brought me back to that dream.

Yes. I drempt(sp?) a disaster had struck (a big one, like out of Stepen King's "The Stand") and I was in my room, packing a backpack of things I'd need, I had to leave to go someplace safer.
