Right now I'm sitting on an 8:00am Tusker House but DW is threatening me with bodily harm if I wake her up at O-dark-hundred just to get there. ;) We do also have a TH for lunch so it isn't a total loss.

Rainforest has openings at 8:30a which is more do-able but then I miss rope drop. :guilty:

I wouldn't be able to drop that one sorry. That is a must do for our family and especially at that time. We always try to get to AK as early as possible as it gets sweltering in the afternoon. Maybe you could bribe her? Is it just the two of you going?

For the past 3 trips, we have dropped a Cape May Breakfast b/c it was just too hard to get over there and we would end up burning park time. I hated to do it, because I know it's a great meal and character interaction. I think we are staying at the Beach Club partially just so we don't skip it this year. Well, that and the proximity to Epcot.:thumbsup2

I'm an early bird with a reluctant (read: grouchy) morning partner. :rolleyes1: He's horrible in the morning, even if there's WDW fun in his future! Hence, no morning ADRs for us. I couldn't imagine inflicting his grumpy-ness on strangers! (that's why he's gonna be Grumpy for MNSSHP this year) LOL

I think it's all in the delivery. Assuming you're with kids: Tell her, "Honey, I decided since this was YOUR vacation too, I'm going to let you sleep in and you can meet us at [insert attraction / location here] at [insert time here]. Or you can call me on my cell when you're ready for us to meet you!"

That way she thinks you're doing her a favor by getting out of her hair and letting her have a glorious child-free morning all to herself. You, on the other hand, get to go to TH and enjoy breakfast with the characters! It's a win-win situation! :lmao:

If you're like me and it's just the 2 of you, you can go the "good guy" route by honoring her wishes and missing out on breakfast, or go the "bad guy" route by nagging her until she complies! LOL :rotfl2: Hey...I didn't say it was gonna be PRETTY!

Either way, you're all at WDW, so you're going to have a fabulous time. Enjoy your vacation!

!

:rotfl: That's her royal highness (The Queen of Hearts) alright. Although there is about a 25% chance she'll wake up on her own to go out, she just hates when I wake her up.
