I was in line for Kali River Rapids during my visit 2 weeks ago with my 3 kids all 10 yo or younger. The line was progressing slowly so we had lots of time to people watch. There was a very interesting young (early 20s late teens) couple who were from somewhere outside the USA.

They kept an iron grip on each other and their various body parts and practiced what appeared to be a new form of resucitative breathing technique for a steady half hour. The were quiet comments from the other onlookers and giggles but no one else seemed bothered.

Right before the exit to the loading area the guy jumped up to sit on the hand rail. Girlie stands between his legs and they kiss. Then she starts kissing his neck, chest, stomach and  Guy is overlooking the crowd acting like Hugh Hefner when he makes eye contact with me. I YELL, "STOP THAT! THERE ARE CHILDREN HERE!!"

Guy almost falls off the handrail, girl turns 3 shades of pink and won't look around. The other folks in the waiting area say thanks and we start discussing how this couple will likely be broken up by the end of summer and how embarrassed the girl will/should be to have been doing that in public. We all laughed and the couple seemed appropriately subdued after that.

My 10 y.o. DD told me thanks that she was getting 'grossed out' by what they were doing. I was happy to hear that she still thinks boys are kind of icky! :rotfl:

Just wondering what others have seen while wandering the World?

I have to say that I noticed this more at DL last month then I ever had at WDW.

We've never seen anything that bad - that's awful! :sad2:

I often see folks on these boards putting this kind of behaviour down to Europeans and saying that this kind of thing happens "over there." I'm Scottish and would never do something like that or turn a blind eye to inappropriate behaviour like that in a theme park!

We were staying on I-Drive for the millennium and when DH and I left our hotel's party to get something from our room at about 11pm, here was a young couple AT THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL steps away from the Security Guard's podium looking very sheepish and disheveled! ;) Once we got passed them DH said "that girl's trousers were undone!" and I said "his fly was undone, too!" and we both chuckled a bit but were a bit embarrassed.

Needless to say, when we returned to the party about 5 minutes later, they were gone! :rotfl2:

Being a Middle School teacher in a building shared with the High School, I both see and get queasy over similar behavior. It's just become instinct to respond with loud retching noises - it seems to work well both at school and in public!

That's good! I'll remember to use that method next time. It would be effective even if the offending parties didn't speak the same language. It sounds the same everywhere! :crazy2:

You guys are hilarious! I'm trying to picture one of my junior high school teachers retching to break up an over-amorous young couple, but somehow it's just not coming to me... :rotfl2:

Of course, it has been a few years (or 30) since I was that age. ::yes::

My sister used to work in security for the Marriott, and you would not believe the things people do! And we're not talking teenagers, either. Oy...

There was a couple like that at the SSR quiet pool at Congress park when we were there last spring--if I thought about it, I could give you the time as well as the date. We were the only ones in the pool to start--my husband, son (8), myself, and my brothers family (brother, wife, three children ages 14, 7 and 4), and my second brother. My brothers and husband were having quite a hoot commenting on their behavior, which was very suggestive. Finally, SIL had enough of it, and we all went in.

Too funny! :lmao: I thought I was the only one who did that! At our Middle School dances I shine my flashlight on anyone I suspect doesnt have their hands in the right place or if there is kissing going on. Works every time!!! The kids know if they see me coming across the dance floor to watch out! They are never rude or nasty, they just get embarassed and apologize. :thumbsup2
