Sounds like something Red Green would do lol

Well, I thought you would be glad to see it could be worse..lol

I went to the store the other day, and I was in there for only about 5 minutes. When I came out there was a damn motorcycle cop writing a parking ticket. So I went up to him and said, "Come on, buddy, how about giving a guy a break?"

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket.

So I called him a pencil-necked jerk.

He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires!

So I called him a piece of horse doo.

He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket!

This went on for about 20 minutes.

The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote. But I didn't care. My car was parked around the corner. I try to have a little fun each day. It's important.

BTW

I have had *one* ticket my whole life when I was 16 with my learners permit. I really deserved it too. I had been on a road trip with my friend and had been driving for 10 hours. I was so bagged!!

I was too stubborn to let her drive though so I speeding to get home, he clocked me at 87 in a 50 It was a country highway at night.

He said he followed me at a lot faster though. He gave me a ticket but he could have dragged my butt to jail. I was very grateful!

I was so stupid to do that and it definately scared me straight!

A few months ago I got a $125 ticket for going 56 in a 50 mph zone. It was 8 am on a Sunday morning on a deserted country road no less. The worst part was that I had to go to 4 hours of traffic school as well. Then, yesterday I got a safety citation from the state congratulating me on being "moving violation free" for the past 4 years. It also allowed me to renew my driver's license over the internet, which I am happy about. :D

Binny, that was hilarious!

When I was 19, I got pulled over for speeding, but it wasn't me. The cop turned a corner and lost whoever it was he was really chasing and pulled me over instead (it was at night). I was never even at the intersection he said I was at when he said he first saw me speeding! I fought it in court and won! I was pretty proud of myself since I was only 19. But I was telling the truth. Even brought a map to show the Judge my route, and the route the cop took, and where we met up.

My elation was short lived though. Less than a month later I got a speeding ticket that I did deserve.

But I haven't gotten a ticket since. (That's not to say that I haven't deserved one, though.):p

OK......here's a funny story and I'm 'fessing up! On my way to the train station one morning, I decided that I'd stop for a cup of coffee to go. But I knew I only had a few minutes to grab it and make the train. I made the smart decision to pull over in front of the store (in the FIRE LANE !) since I'd only be inside for 30 seconds. Well, you guessed it. As I headed to the door, coffee in hand, I saw the officer getting out of the police car behind my car.
Desperate, I began walking out of the store, dragging my left leg stiffly behind me. I apologized to the officer and told him that I had injured my knee the day before and had trouble walking distances. He gave me a weird look but let me go! I was so petrified that when I got to the train station (only about a block away) I also 'stiff-walked' to the platform in case he was watching me. LOL! Please don't flame me - I learned my lesson and will NEVER park illegally again.

I got a $125 speeding ticket for doing 51 in a 35 MPH. I realized I was over the speed limit and I usually don't mouth off to a cop, I just grin & bear it -- but he was hidding in the driveway of a church.

I asked him if he didn't think that violated the "separation of church & state" policy - he just grinned at me, said "Good try. Have a nice day".

But I guess in 40 years of driving, one ticket isn't too bad.

binny, I'm laughing about this. That sounds like my luck.

off2disney I got my first ticket last year. 60 in a 55.

I think you did pretty well not getting a traffic ticket in 40 years of driving.

That's too funny, Off2disney!! :teeth: I've had 2 speeding tickets. The first time I was running late for work. Snagged me on a corner just as I was approaching DS's day care center. Another time I was a bit too fast on a straight road where it's too easy to speed up. Both times I was driving a Camaro. Since I got rid of that car, I don't get speeding tickets. Vans just don't have the same pick up. LOL! :teeth:

I hope I don't jinx myself by answering.

I got a speeding ticket when I was 21 for going 72 in a 55. I went to court and beat the ticket -- the police officer didn't show up. So, I got off much to my delight.

It's been over 20 years. Knock on wood my luck continues.

Now, if the question had been how many times did I actually deserve a ticket and didn't get one, that would be another story.;)

Ive been pulled over for speeding 3 times, but Ive always gotten out of it with just a verbal warning. ;)
I have gotten a couple parking tickets though. 1 was while I was at work, I was parked at a time limit street spot longer than the limit. However since our parking lot was full, my work covered it. And once I did do something stupid. I parked in a crosswalk...but it didnt look like a crosswalk. To me it was just a part of a road made out of bricks. I always thought a crosswalk was white lines. Towns try to be all fancy and look what happens. ;)

You guys are hilarius!!!

Knock on wood......I've only gotten one speeding ticket but for the record, I've been stopped several times. ;) :jester:
