Ever get "put in your place"?

I've had people "put me in my place" before, twice. Once my friend, once my SO. :teeth:

I was arguing with my friend over something, and I was complaining to my SO who told me he didn't want to hear it anymore. :lmao:

Both times I just stood there like, :bitelip:

and did nothing. What esle can you do when someone "puts you in your place". :confused3
