Ever find your pets in strange places?

One time during a thunderstorm I decided to jump in the shower.Well,I hear this loud thunder as I wash the shampoo off my hair, I open my eyes and I see my lhasa apso in the shower,sitting next to me,shaking.Needless to say she was completely wet.Another time,I get home from work after another thunderstorm and I hear her barking ,but, I can't find her.She had jumped inside our large trash can (25 gallons) to hide from the thunder.I cannot understand how she did it without tipping it over.I figure she had been in there for at least 2 hours and I don't need to tell you how wonderful she smelled PHEW!!.It was amazing!!!

My mom is an organist and has an old church organ. Our cat disappeared (when she was just a kitty) one day for hours. We were heartbroken and figured she had somehow gotten out and run away - we looked everywhere. That night we were watching tv and she crawled out one of the organ pedals - she had been sleeping all day up inside the organ.

Our female cat likes to sleep in the tub after we shower. Then she likes to rub her wet tail on your legs.

The weirdest thing was a past cat, Mittens. We lost her one evening, thinking she got outside. We found her very early the next morning in DH's big old antique dresser. She had crawled around to different drawers leaving fur everywhere. I kept hearing her meow very softly and we thought she was outside the window.
