Ever call someone the wrong name?

I caught my BF flirting with a girl called Kelly, and when he saw me storm off, really angry, he shouted at me 'come back Kelly, I'm sorry!'

My name is NOT Kelly!!!

Yes from so many years of fighting with my ex husand quite a few times when arguing with DH I would call him by my ex's name. Only when arguing though, thank goodness.

I get called the wrong name a lot, by many different people. I guess my name sounds similar to a bunch of other names.

At my parents' wedding, my dad's aunt made a toast to my dad and his first wife's name. Ouch.

I usually call them the wrong name. My kids will correct me.

Only once...at a VERY wrong time...it was very ugly. No I avoid using names like the plague.

When I was younger, my mother would always call my current BF by the last one's name. One time after I corrected her, she said something to the effect of me changing my revolving door policy so she wouldn't have to remember the names. In front of the current BF.

I'm so bad with names I can't even come up with a "wrong" one.. I just stand there with this "deer in the headlights" look on my face..
