Ever been both happy & mad about something at the same time?? (Warning: VENT)

In Feb. I applied for the DIsney Visa. Approx 2 weeks later I recieved a letter saying they needed me to send originals of a couple things, we recently moved out of state and I assumed it was to comfirm identity. Anyway, about a week later I called customer service to confirm they had received them. I was told at that time that I was declined !!!! I have excellent credit!! I was quite upset, I was given the # to call to request a copy of my credit report. Still nothing showing justification for denying me. I just called Bank One and we told that my cards were sent out yesterday!! I was never denied, just put on hold until documents were received.

Course I am happy that the cards are on the way and I was approved but I am mad that I was given false info.

YIKES, I can imagine how upsetting that must have been. I'm glad the cards are on the way, too bad their customer service did look more closely before they told you that you had been declined.

Thats sad, and whats sadder is that companies hire people who are incompetent and half the time don't know what they are talking about.

When John and I first got married I was accused of writing a bad check and was told that I owed oh goodness I think the amount was $60 something plus bad check fees....the problem, I didnt, and had never done business with the bank the check was on. It ended up being my Mother in Law who is worthless! It took a while to straighten all of that out.....never again did I put Mr. or Mrs. John **** on my checks.....from then on out it was John or Beth.
