Thought I might post this on the families board too for any mums or dads or grandparents who may have planned events/functions at WDW and needed a little help.
Are there event planners at WDW? Does anybody have a phone number or email address?
I am sure they have planners for the weddings, but I am having my 40th at WDW and am wanting to book Grand 1 and either have dinner for our group on the boat as well as the cake. But I may want to organise a dinner before, but am not sure in a restaurant or a private room somewhere then have the cake on the boat. I want to organise the goodie bags for the kids etc. It would just be good to have an event planner who can put all of the pieces together and get the information about different function or private rooms with catering so just have it organised all at once rather than pulling all different parts together and because they have all been done separately they may not all run together.
Calling from Australia to organise all of these different things will be expensive and also a challenge finding the right time to call with time difference etc, so having one person to coordinate the function would be much easier.
Would love a phone number or some advise from anybody who has needed assistance organising a function or event that is not a wedding.
I might post this on the restaurant board and weddings board too as I'm not really sure where to ask this question.
