Are the Marathon and Half-Marathon dates typically around the same time each year?

Marathon weekend is always early January. I believe it is the first full weekend that doesn't include the 1st or 2nd but someone can correct me. Basically it will be between New Year's Day and MLK weekend.

The easy way to remember the Marathon Weekend dates is that it’s the weekend prior to the MLK holiday weekend.
