Evening WWOHP Sat. May 14?

We'll be at WWOHP on Mon and Tues May 9 and 10. I would LOVE to see it at night. IOA is open until 9:00 on Saturday the 14th. I'm wondering if anyone has any thought regarding how bad the crowds will be. We will have done the rides and will be there mostly to walk around. I'm thinking of getting there around 2:00. Should we get there earlier or later? Any thoughts would be amazing.

I would imagine they would be moderate at worst. Only colleges have released at this time so you'll just have a lot of locals. But someone who knows better will be around soon....

It is amazing at night and the crowds seem to slow down (at least in the past couple of days) after about 5:00. I didn't even notice the magical writing of the words on the gates to the castle until we saw it after dark. May is less crowded than now, but 2:00 still might be crazy busy. The streets are so packed at mid-day, that for me it was not enjoyable. Later in the evening it was great.

From 1-5 the crowds are not only at their peak, but it's also the hottest part of the day. I would try to get there around 3-4 and do other parts of IOA until the sun starts to set and the crowds start to leave. I think you'll find WWoHP much more enjoyable after dark.
