evening extra magic hours

I feel like disney used to have EMH every day one park in the morning and another at night. For our stay in December there are 0 evening magic hours and the parks all close by 9ish every night. Now that our kids are getting older we were hoping to take longer daytime breaks and do some late nights.
is this the new normal? Is it likely any will be added closer to our stay?

PM EMH has been reduced in frequency (and length) over the past several years.

DAK and/or DHS, at various periods of time, have not offered PM EMH at all.
PM EMH has had a propensity to vary with the popularity of various attractions at those parks.

There are currently only 2 evening EMHs. Epcot on Tuesdays and MK on Wednesdays (and there are no morning EMHs on those days) . As recently as about 2.5 years ago, HS had evening EMH on Fridays, but at the moment, they do not have any evening EMHs. The schedule does change from time to time, but the current schedule has been in place for the last couple of years (other than some extra evening EMHs at AK and HS right after their new lands opened). The remaining evening EMHs have also been cut from 3 hours to 2 hours.
