When there are evening EMHs is it always for 3 hours? Morning always one hour? We are late night people, and are wanting to spend lots of time in the parks at night!

I'm just going to bump this back to page one for you so that some of our veterans can give you an answer.

So far the early EMH has been one hour and the evening three hours. Can't say that they will or won't change. Since the old EE were one hour and the old E-nights three I would guess the current EMH will stay that way for a while.

We were really disappointed in the EMH evening at Epcot in January. There wasnt too much open. I had expected ALL of world showcase to be open, and only mexico and maybe norway were. That was it. Test Track was broken so that left Mission Space. Im not sure I would personally go back to Epcot for EMH night.

Hi Aimee - are the shops at WS open during Epcot EMH's? :confused3 Restaurants? :confused3 I'm not too concerned about either El Rio del Tiempo or Maeltstrom ... we've done them so many times that I think we would be ok with missing them or doing them a different time. :p

Here's a list of attractions open for Epcot's evening EMH:

Mission: SPACE
Spaceship Earth
Test Track
Universe of Energy
Journey into Imagination with Figment
El Rio del Tiempo
Honey I Shrunk the Audience
The Maelstrom

I did a search on the restaurant board and can't find an answer as to what restaurants are open during the evening EMH :confused3

I think the restaurants in Mexico are open. and thats about it. Mouse Gears i THINK was open .. Im not even positive!! All the shops thru World SHowcase were closed except Mexico.. and I believe Norway was open too.. I thought MOST of Epcot would be open... nope!!

to redo my plan! We are huge Epcot fans. I need to think about this and adjust before going any further. I really thought that WS would be more 'open' - I was thinking that the shops and stuff would be open, and more of the restaurants. That's too bad (well, for us!) hmmmm.

Momof6 ( 6 kids!!! wow!!!)
We are huge Epcot lovers and we thought it would be AWESOME to stay until Midnight at Epcot. It was soooo disappointing. I went to get a strawberry daqueri in Morocco... CLOSED... I could even handle all of the rides being closed and having all the countries open. AT least the snack and drink stands and some counter services. We spend most of our night there in Mission space. They rode that a few times and played the games when you get off the ride. I was exhausted from just sitting there. Im not sure I would bother going back for Epcots EMH evening. We were going to attempt MK's while we were there, but it ended up raining about 6pm while we were in MGM. SO we just headed back to the room to let the kids swim. THat was it for our EMH'S!!!

Addicted2disney - Actually dh and I have 4 boys and 2 girls (all the boys came first!) We are also foster parents. We currently have two foster daughters also living with us. We've been foster parents for 10 years now.
I am so disappointed in the evening emh thing at Epcot. :guilty: I seriously do have to rethink our whole plan now. Not that we are planned down to the minute or anything. I in no way approach WDW commando style ::yes:: (even tho dh is in the Army!) I might have to cave and get up early. Dh is away right now (just a week - Army stuff) and when he called tonight he asked if I did any new dis planning. I told him I had to redo the planning...I think he got scared! :bitelip: LOL! We are running out of time for that!

Any1 have a list of Mk's EMH attractions?? I would also like to know about the crowd levels during this time.

I can understand most of World Showcase being close...think about it...they do that for a reason....to herd all the people down towards the exit. Disney is all about moving masses of people in an efficient manner...it's genius stuff watching how the crowds are moved so efficiently almost as if they have people on auto-pilot most of the time. Oh yeah, and it's amazing how easily people are moved into gift shops...hehe.

See.. I dont understand most of WS being closed. They are having you stay 3 extra hours, but closing most of the park down. Why bother having an extra 3 hours if MOST of Epcot isnt rides to begin with. We only stayed because we planned on hanging out in the countries for those extra hours. Next time we go back, I wont make a special trip to Epcot for the EMH night. I may plan that day to be our Epcot day, and maybe do TT, MS, Maelstrom and Ellen in the extra hours.. I wouldnt stay until midnight. Maybe just an extra hour or 2.

We never made it to the night time MK emh.. it was raining the day we were planning on going over. We went in January, and I was reading back then that the crowds at night were nonexistant. Im not sure if that is still true. As a rule, where there is a morning EMH, that park tends to be more crowded. We always avoid the park that has a morning EMH that day.
