Evening EMH ?

This has probably been asked and answered before, but I can't find it anywhere. I will be staying on site, can I show up at the EMH park after the official closing and still get in? Or do I have to be there before park closing to get a wristband?

From what I have read - be at the park by 4pm to get the wrist band for the night - so I guess plan on eating dinner at the 'wrist-band' park

You can get a wrist band at the park even after the park is closed to non-resort guests. We were there in August and we arrived at EPCOT at 11:00 PM on EMH night and we were able to get a wrist band. The stations stay set up in the parks after the park closes. Have a great trip.

Yep. We generally try to arrive 30 to 60 minutes after EMH starts. This avoids standing in line for a wrist band. (If the line at the front of the park is long, find one of the others further into the park. They always are much shorter.) Also, lots of people spend their whole day in the EMH park. Once EMH finally begins, they quickly tire of it and head out. That's not to say there won't be crowds. We've yet to go to one (4 WDW visits so far this year) and not be met with masses of people and longish lines.

Thank you both so much for this info. It's what I wanted to hear I'm so glad I won't have to run around crazy for a wristband before park closing. We plan to go the MGM just for the holiday decorations and lights, so we probably won't do any rides anyway.
