Evening EMH MK

My son and husband did the evening one a few years ago and said it wasn't that crowded. We are thinking about doing one and I wanted people's thoughts on how crowded it is. Does it tapper off later in the evening or stay crowded the whole time?

THe later the EMH, the less crowded it get. If EMH is until 2AM, the last hour between 1 and 2 is usually golden. I emphasize USUALLY. YMMV.

It does taper off as it gets later. I enjoy evening EMH. But when when we were there in Nov, MK was a complete madhouse on its evening EMH night. You couldn't even walk it was so crowded everywhere. I don't ever remember seeing it that bad in November. The line for TTA wrapped around through Tomorrowland. I do think the crowds had a lot to do with everyone taking advantage of a late MK day since the MVMCP's were going on all week so lots of people had to deal with early closing of the park, unless you went to the party. Thankfully I was going to the party the following night and had a much better and much emptier park to play with!

Keep in mind PM EMH used to be 3 hours after park close. Now it's down to 2 so I imagine it's harder to find it uncrowded.

That said, I agree with the PP who said it depends on how late it is.

I always do EMH pm on my May trip. Some rides are empty, I imagine the headliners are busy until close, but NOT as busy as during the day. Remember Splash Mtn closes at regular hours, not EMH. I rode Thunder Mtn and remember that was my longest wait at 30 minutes, Space Mtn was about 15 minutes. Last two hours Small World, Little Mermaid. Pirates, HM etc. were a walk on. Save 7DMT to the very last and get in line no matter what the wait time says. They greatly increase it to stop people from getting in line.

Don't believe the wait time on ANY ride near the end of the night. At that point, the times are about behavior manipulation as opposed to information delivery.

We had EMH at MK last month until 3am. We did every single ride in the park between those two hours, there was no one there. All waits were 5 minutes or less, minus 7DMT, which only had a 20 minute wait.
