Evening EMH and crowds

Are the parks with evening EMH crowded all day, or just towards the end of the day? (I have heard that the morning EMH park will be crowded, just wondering if it also applies to the evening EMH park)

It really depends on when you are going. Last June we found the evening EMH a complete waste of time. There were way too many people in the parks and the wait times were as bad as during the day.
We have always found that you can get a lot done in all the parks if you get there before opening (EMH or regular). The really big crowds don't arrive until later in the morning. We were able to see Mickey's Philharmagic last June with about six other people. We normally leave that park before noon for a break and then hop to another park later in the day. The park with the evening EMH starts getting really crowded later in the afternoon. Unless you want to try the evening EMH I would skip that park on that day.

Last April,I found evening EMH Parks a bit more crowded during the day, but the hordes really started pouring in near official closing time. We were at MGM & I thought "Gee, this isn't too bad...." and by 9pm it was packed & they were still coming.... That was the last time I went to an evening EMH.

Do you think it makes a difference if the EMH park is the only one open in the evening?
We'll be at the World in May and the parks are open till 9 pm or later most evenings, so I'm wondering if people will still go to another park after 9pm?

I was Spring Break when we were there in April & MK was open til, I believe 10pm the night we were at MGM evening EMH. I didn't expect it to be as bad as it was.....

Of course, my defination of bad might be relative. I had never been at Spring Break before, so the whole trip felt more crowded to me.
