I am driving my Chrysler Pacific Hybrid to WDW in a few weeks and I have a few questions for any of you who have used the EV Parking at WDW.

1) Based on what is on PlugShare, it looks like there are 5 charging stations at Ticket and Transportation Center, based on your experience what are the odds of getting an open charger if your plan is to show up around rope-drop/park opening time.

2) PlugShare says there is a cost, is this the case?

3) My car will charge in about 2 hours on a level 2 charger, meaning I'll be using a spot for an additional 10 hours after my car is fully charged. Is it Disney's expectation that you'd move your car once charged?

4) Is there anything else I should be aware of when attempting to use the EV charges at WDW.

Thanks!

I cannot answer your questions but I do know that Tim Tracker, big disney youtuber, has covered EV parking in some of his videos as they have a volt. He just mentioned recently that Wilderness Lodge is the first resort to have EV that he knew of so may be good to research backups. Disney has info on EV spots here https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/parking/

Yes they do charge for the spots. The link above says they ping you when your car is ready so yes, I believe they want the cars moved. Looks like its all first come first served.
