Would you book one way for Eurostar if money was tight then the following month book the other way?

No I would not risk it, as you never know all the seats on our retrun trip might be full.

They have a sale on at the moment with return tickets to DLP from £54.

Yeah I saw that but its not when we go. The price is not to bad just cant really afford it with Christmas coming plus just paid the balance on the trip!
Really need to plan better next time!

I tend to book mine on the day of release so I get them at the cheapest price possible. I'm waiting for Octobers to be released now for our Hallowen trip.

If you want to take the risk buy the outbound tickets now, they will be cheaper than waiting a month. As the price increases as the departure date becomes closer.

As you have already booked and paid for your holiday you might as well.

I agree with Jonjo, as you have booked it anyway you may as well book what you can now in case the prices go up, which they usually do. It depends on what days your booking really as well.

You can get penalised for booking one way too. One year we took the Eurostar over and flew home - when I priced up return tickets the outward journey was £10 cheaper each than what we had to pay for a one way ticket.
