Hi do we need to put labels on luggage? Like you would when flying.
Also are you allowed to eat your own food and drink on board? (was thinking of taking pack up as would be cheaper)

Thank you

Hi

I've always put labels on my luggage when I go on the Eurostar, I think it is encouraged in case you have to leave the train but your luggage has to stay behind, otherwise they won't know whose case belongs to who.

Eat and drink as much as you like of your own picnic!! I always have a picnic on board and it amazes me to see people carrying large cooler boxes on board and seeing them be opened on the train and the feasting commences!! There is a bar buffet on board for hot drinks and snacks but it is rather expensive for the cold drinks and snacks!! Much better to take your own:)

Hope this helps:)

Hi,
If your staying in one of the disney hotels (and have disney express) you will be asked on board how many cases you want sent to the hotel and you will be given a luggage label per case (they are colour coded to which hotel your in) you have to copy the one they have already filled in for you. usually is the surname the trip was booked in and arrival and departure date. When you hand your luggage into the disney express they will give you the bottom part of the label which you need to keep safe as you will need this when you get to the hotel to hand in for you to collect your luggage. Same happens on the way back to the eurostar. you will be given another part of the label when you hand your luggage into the hotel for it to go to the station and hand that part in to collect it. Hope that made sense.

Food wise, we have always taken our own food and drink on like sandwiches crisps fruit etc.

Hi,
Yes you do, there are luggage racks at each end of the carriages also storage above your head. They will ask you to put all large luggage on the racks and keep the over head ones for more like hand luggage. you then take your luggage off the train and take it to the top floor where you will find the Disney express desk.

Silly question but do we take our luggage on board with us?

You are responsible for your luggage at all times - with the exception of when you book your luggage in the the D.E desk at the DLP eurostar station. It's isn't like a plane where you check it in and it's waiting for you on the other side, you take all luggage on the train and take it with you, either to your hotel or to the DE desk on the top level of the :thumbsup2
