Hiya
just wondering on the eurostar where do you put your suitcases??
Maybe a silly question but its one of these small details thats worrying me!!!
thanks for any help

Its not a silly question, they have a luggage rack/area in each carriage:goodvibes

We love the Eurostar train!!! Don't think we would have had 3 trips in just over a year if it wasn't for the train... So lovely, comfy and convenient.

There's enough room for the luggage as well ad buggies so enjoy!

We love the Eurostar too :thumbsup2 it's wonderful when you get off the train and you're THERE!!! :yay:

It's also so nice bringing home what you like (within reason :rotfl: ) instead of all the restrictions you get with flying.

We're Eurostar fans too!

Having compared the cost with flying, it actually works out the same once you factor in transferring from the airport at the other end, but the Eurostar is just so much more convenient! :thumbsup2

after using eurostar for the first time this w/end, i would suggest not taking any bag that is bigger, than the size you can take on a plane as hand luggage. the racks at the end of the carriage, are no way big enough to take more than a few large suitcases, and unless you get on at St Pancras, you just dont have the time or space to fit your bags in. at least if you take small bags, there is ample room inside the seating compartment, on racks over your head. we found this also the best place to put an umbrella fold pushchair, as other passengers take no consideration of other peoples luggage, and just throw it out the way, or dump their stuff on top of it. also the luggage racks, are a mad scrammble when the train pulls into the station, so at least if you have your bags stored near your seat, you can just pick them up and go, avoiding the scrummage

We join Eurostar at Ashford and the luggage racks are usually full. There is plenty of room between and underneath seats though. We each had a normal size suitcase, and the three ladies had small holdalls too!!! We were, after all, going for six nights!!! Eurostar is fantastic, its the only way to go to "the magic", in our opinion. As a professional driver, its great for me to know that 2 hours from Ashford, I am on holiday as well as the non-driving girls!!
