2 weeks before our trip, so in plenty of time

They have reserved seat numbers printed on them, which I wasn't expecting though.
We are a group of 4 and all our seats are close.
They have allocated us 4 back facing seats on the way there and 4 forward facing seats on the way back.
Our problem is that both kids get travel sick and although generally with medication they can travel by train for the Eurostar journey length, neither of them will manage travelling backwards

How flexible are the seating numbers?
Would it be possible to swap 2 of the seats on the way out so the kids can travel forwards?
Has anyone had to so this before?
The other query is that on the covering letter that came with the tickets it said - Room from 4pm. Everything else has always said 3pm - have the times changed or is it more likely a misprint?
