eurostar questions

first time visiting drp by eurostar in 2 weeks and just a couple of questions.....

we need to check in 30 mins before departure time - which will be 8.05am. will we have chance to go in the shops at st pancras after check in and stock up on supplies (i want some boots meal deals but it doesnt open till 8am so cant go there 1st). wasnt sure if you 'go through' to a different bit after check in like you do when flying??

second q - at the station at DLP are there lovkers for your luggage and if there are - how much are they, do we need the right change and about how much stuff do they hold??

Hi Debbiebee,

Once you pass through the security checks for Eurostar at St Pancras I'm afraid you can only visit 2 coffee shops and there is a WHSmith, everything else in St Pancras is before you go through, M&S will be open before you go through and its right opposite the check in so I normally pay a visit there to stock up on goodies!! Personally I would check in about 45 mins before departure only because it can take time to go through the secuity scanners and then passport control, leaving you time for a quick visit to the bathroom before your train is called for boarding, usually about 20 mins before departure.

There is a luggage storage room at DLRP train station on the upper level and there are 3 sizes of lockers, I can't remember the prices but I think the largest is about €9.00 and held 2 small cases on wheels, and 2 holdalls as well! There are change machines within the luggage room and the staff are very helpful and will assist you in choosing the correct size locker and putting the correct money in as well!
