Hi All,

I'm new to the forum, and have a problem with a eurostar booking which i need advice on.

First of all i'd like to say how great this forum is, i had my first trip to dlp in june for my 21st birthday and had a brill time and found this forum sooooo helpful in planning it!!! sooo thanks to you all for all the really useful information& advice.:)

Ok so on to the problem, i'm planning a trip to dlp for new years and phoned for a quote from eurostar on tues 24th,i was quoted £105 each for non flexible tickets,i then phoned to book the next day (after trying all day to book online, but it just wasn't working)and booked and paid for tickets at £125 each, i was told that the price had gone up because of the availability had gone down. But tonight i have looked on the website and they are quoting £105 and then the next price up is £149. So my question is....... has anyone else had this problem? and do you think i woulld be able to get the difference back?

Thanks!!!

Hi tigger300686, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:
How annoying

I understood it as there is a price increase of £5 per ticket for telephone bookings but this seems a bit much, especially since tickets are available online at the lower price. I would give Eurostar a ring, you have nothing to lose.

I have just phone eurostar, and have been refunded £20 as the tickets are now £115 altho the website still says there £105 each, but the man insists that i wouldnt be able to buy tickets at that price!!i just think its abit missleading, Oh well at least its something.
The thing that annoys me is that if i had been able to book online they would have been cheaper and i would have got money back from a voucher. Maybe i shouldnt have been so keen to book lol !!!

Hopefully the rest of the planning will go without problems.
