we planning on going to DLP in august, and we not sure on whs the best way to get there.

firstly i thought of getting the direct train from London Waterloo to DLP, but that going to cost us around £340. plus about tht option is it quiker and esier

2nd option was getting the ferry to calias and then driving about 4hrs to DLP, that will only cost us £90 for the ferry, plus petrol. with the hassel of driving down to dover, ferry, and drive to DLP.

help please!!!

The direct train from London (or Ashford) to DLP is excellent! It is completely hassle free and you arrive right outside the parks! If you book a Disney hotel then you can leave your luggage at the train station and they will take it to your hotel and you can go straight into the parks (if you have booked the package then you will get your tickets given to you on the train).

We are going by Eurotunnel this year, but definitely find the driving in France much easier than in this country.

Hi,
I have bean to DLP two times now, and I am planing another visit soon. The first time we when mt Ferry. It was not bad, it tock about 10 Hrs in total from door to door. Nest was the Eurotran (as this is what thau call the tran that can take cars). This took us about 8 Hrs this time. Next time we have booked the EuroStar. I am hoping that this will take us about 5 Hrs. As you know the cost for the EuroStar is not chap, but that is all that you will have to pay.

I hope that this helps.

Is it cheaper than flying? We priced it up and it was working out the same:confused3 But we had to get an over night sleeper from Inverness to London and I'm thinking thats where the money came in. Ooooh to live down South instead of up in the sticks!!!:rotfl:

It's an easy drive from Calais to DLP & we've never found it to be hassle.

It takes us approx 4 hours to get to Dover have in the past booked a travelodge for the night before the ferry. If you look now you may get a cheap deal.

Where do you live? Are there any budget flights available. We flew from Coventry to Orly last year for about £45 per person each (including taxes)!

Just an FYI, as it probably won't affect you if you are going in August.

The Eurostar is changing from Waterloo station to St Pancras station. I think I read this will happen in November, but not 100% sure of that. New tracks have been built in England that will allow for higher speeds on that portion of the route, and knock perhaps a half hour or so off the trip time.

Just noticed your sig. Kevankiki and I've probably missed you, in fact I'm guessing you're about half way there by now - Have a fabulous trip, hope your DS enjoys her birthday celebration.
