We are off very soon now :cool1: so I have to start packing. Thing is we are going via Eurostar this time whereas last time we had the car packed full to the rafters. Are there luggage trolleys at Ashford (y'know, like airport ones?) because I'm not sure we are going to be able to carry 5 people's luggage plus a toddler (and herd 2 excited boys as well) between the two of us? Will we have to hump our bags off the train and carry them to the bus and then through the hotel to our rooms? If so, might have to try and locate some very LARGE wheeled cases!!

Also, having a weather based dilemma at the moment. Last January when we went it was freezing and snowy so we have thermals and snowsuits all ready to take, but looking at the weather at the moment it's warm (for the time of year) and piddling down with rain. I have no idea at all what sort of stuff to take :confused3

Apart from that, have I mentioned that we go in a week?? :rotfl2:  :woohoo: :yay:

There are definately luggage trolleys at Ashford and I'd assume they have them at DLRP too although I can't say I've seen them. I take it you haven't got the Express Luggage Service, if not you will have to take your own luggage via the shuttle bus (or I've seen people walking through the village) to your hotel. Because you'll be arriving around lunchtime the shuttle buses going back to the hotels will be quiet and you shouldn't have a problem getting everyone and the bags onboard.

We have all roller type cases I think they're a godsend, you can always sling another bag around the handle too plus you've a hand free for the toddler.

It's really easy to negotiate around the station although I find the escalators a bit of a pain, they throw me into a panic, but then I had a nasty experience with one when I was little. Once you've come up to floor level the bus station is right outside. I'm sure you won't have any problems.

Sending some pixie dust in the hope it'll stop the rain for you:wizard:
Have a lovely trip:goodvibes

Not sure about trolleys at the DLP station. But the shuttle busses and taxi stand are right outside the station.
