eurostar London few questions

hi just about time to book our tickets on the eurostar as we are traveling down from Edinburgh the day before anyone know where's the nearest travel lodge type hotel is to the st pancras station.also as we are going on a tue so there is no direct train to dlp and we have to change at Lille is this straight forward and last silly question is it like an airport do u go through scanners and things thanks

Travel Lodge Kings Cross is just across the road. There is also TL Kings Cross Royal Scott as well and it isnt that far from Euston either (walking distance)
There is a premier Inn just up the road and a Novotel as well

I've just booked the Travelodge Kings Cross for when we go in January...they're having a sale at the moment and I got the room for £29 if you are booking at least 21 days in advance.
