We are hoping to take our son to Disneyland Paris for his 21st birthday. He is autistic and has learning difficulties. We have been before but found the Eurostar to be a little crowded and to be honest I got fed up of people staring every time he made a noise.
Has anyone travelled in the first class area. Is it more spacious and worth the extra. I just want him to have a happy stress free holiday.

In other posts it definitely seems that you'll have more space as well as a nice breakfast.
Hopefully this will allow yourself and DS to relax and look forward to your trip to DLP :)

We have travelled first class on three trips now and on each of the six journeys our carriage has never been more than half-full. On one occasion we were the only ones in it :yay: There is quite a bit more space and a very calm relaxed atmosphere and I am sure you would find this beneficial.

I personally think it is worth the extra money, especially as the food is very good. :) Just wish I could afford to travel first class on airplanes! ;) :goodvibes

Note however that Eurostar has 2 types of first class - Leisure Select and a Business One. Don't know if either of these will be an issue for you, but you still need to check in 30 mins before on Leisure Select (Business Class is 10 mins) and you can't use the lounge at Waterloo. However, I would have thought that you would get more stares/the carriage is generally a lot quiter in business class when you are actually on the train.
