Eurosatar from Ashford/Kent

We are travelling to DLP on Eurostar from Ashford/Kent in March & wanted to stay in a local hotel overnight to avoid having to get up early & travelling down on the day.

Has anyone else stayed in a hotel near the station in Ashford/Kent that you could recommend ?

we stayed at the Holiday inn (central). The taxi took just 5 mins and we were able to leave our car there (for 3 nights, they charge for more than that i think). Any questions, let me know.

We stayed in the Travel Inn at the Eureka Leisure Park. There were a good selection of places to eat ... pizza hut, burger king, kfc, etc and also a cinema, if you wanted to see a film the night before travelling. Everything was within 5 minutes walk of the travel inn.

When we were there (October last year), the car park at the Eurostar station was full, so they let us leave the car in their car park from Tuesday to Friday free of charge, but I don't think they'd do this if the Eurostar car park wasn't full, and we had booked 2 nights, one before we went to disneyland, and one on our way home on the friday.
