So, I have some certificates to be framed before they decay and go all yellow, but professional framing services are very expensive - up to £100 online (but usually £30-£40 - still way too much).

BUT. A family member had a brainwave. Go to Ikea and buy a frame - £1.25! Or if you want to go seriously professional, get a frame from John Lewis for £10! I can afford that

Problem with this is you have to go to Ikea

You can get a frame from anywhere (physical location or online). You could even get mattes. Why is this such a shock?

At issue would be if what you want framed doesn't "fit" within a standard side.

I had been looking into professional services for framing, online and offline. They all were more expensive than I'd hoped. I hadn't coined that a standard frame from John Lewis was jus as good. I've ordered one frame to try out, dimension wise, but I'm hopeful.

This reminds me of a video I saw yesterday where a lady had an aha moment when she realized that the water company was not in charge of how hot her hot water was lol

TBF tho I have had plenty of my own moments where I wonder how I have survived as long as I have considering how stupid I am sometimes
