ETPE/G+ Strategy: Peter Pan's Flight

TL/DR: Is it worth getting Peter Pan's Flight on G+ and do other Fantasyland attractions during Early Theme Park Entry, or can I knock it and other Fantasyland things out during EPTE and book Jungle Cruise LL first?

Hi all! Getting myself through the slog of January by planning out details of our first week of May trip. It will be three of us -- me, my 5 year old, and my 65 year old mom. None of us have been recently. I will be purchasing G+ and we will plan to do ETPE

I'm going back and forth between:
  • Option 1: Booking Jungle Cruise at 7am for first G+ and heading straight to Peter Pan's Flight as our first ride during ETPE, then trying some more Fantasyland rides.
  • Option 2: Booking PPF as the first G+ and doing other Fantasyland rides during ETPE (presumably grabbing JC second).
Note: my Peanut has no interest in 7DMT so we don't have to worry about fitting that in.

I'd like to limit the number of Fantasyland rides I use G+ on in the morning so I can book LLs in the afternoon for any repeat favorites. But I'm worried that if we aren't front of the pack for ETPE (and my mom is already a little iffy about the early hour), PPF will have a crazy line and take up all of ETPE. On the other hand, I know Jungle Cruise books up the fastest of our "must do" MK rides, at least according to thrilldata.

Any advice or guidance? Thank you!

You're right. So it's really 6 of 1 and half dozen of the other. Both PPF and JC are high priority G+ rides and sell out fast. I've been to MK on really busy days and feel like JC sells out first more often, or at least, that's what I recall. If I were you and your desire to ride both of these rides is equal, I'd book a G+ for JC and RD PP, and hit up the other fantasyland rides in the morning.

If you prefer not to mess with ETPE if your mom's not on board, just wake up early to book your G+ for JC, fingers crossed it's not too late of a morning return time and then try for PPF on your next Genie Plus selection window. It's a toss up what you'll get but then you don't have to mess with rope dropping for ETPE. We usually do not try for a G+ for JC or PPF, they're not always must do's for us. JC isn't always open until park close but PPF is so you can get in line at closing or try during fireworks.

Thank you! I'm leaning Jungle Cruise as first one as well, so appreciate the feedback.

Not sure how big a Peter Pan fan you are, but if you haven't been since they re-did the stand by line I think it is neat & helps "tell the story" as you wait for the ride. Obviously not worth a crazy long wait, but if you hit it first before RD.

That does help! I haven't been in a very long time so it'd be fun to check out the line. Thank you!
