ETICKET...for disboards

Has anyone here downloaded this to thier IPHONE... I don't know know what I am doing wrong but... in "my itinerary" it lists each day of my stay... then ur supposed to be able to go back and add things that you want to do on each day... reservations...which park..etc...
well it only lets me add everything to my first day which is sunday...there doesn't seem to be a way to add anything to any other days of the week I am there... this is a A HUGE flaw... and if so I just wasted 6 bucks on this app!
Anyone know what the deal is? HELP PLEASE!

Ok, I figured it out.. but this app is NOT worth 6 bucks... the cheapier ones do a better job.... this one just looks fancier.... its not worth the money!

Sorry to hear you feel that way. There is plenty of information in the app that many will find useful.

But its the same stuff thats in the mouse memo, disney dining and disney list apps...which are either 99 cents or free apps.
It is pretty I give them that... and I LOVE the ease of getting onto disboards with it. Just kinda pricey for what u get.

It is sort of an "all-in-one" app, though.

You can get Maps, Dining Reviews, Menus, have a place to put your notes, etc...All in one place.

And to me it was worth $6.00 just to be able to get on the DIS without bringing up browsers, etc. It is easier to read and search on the go.

I spend $6.00 on a Big Mac...I will use this for months and months (years?) to come.

And I have found the tech support to be amazing!

ETA - and it was nice to be able to support the DIS - since I have been on here nearly every day for Free for over a year.

You have the wrong information. The program was removed while a bug was fixed. It is awaiting Apple approval and will once again be for sale.

It's refreshing to see a company that cares when there is a problem instead of hiding their heads in the sand.

thank you for the update safetymom but as it stands the app is not available for purchase in the app store, correct? so her information is correct the app is not available for purchase.

It wasn't pulled because no one liked it. It was pulled so that everyone could get the full benefit of the program. I am sure this isn't the first app to fix tech issues.

Also...for those of us that purchased it...it still works.

They have just pulled it for NEW purchases, right?

Maybe not all parts of the APP are working? But I can access the DIS and maps and such?

I really do not see where she said it was pulled because no one liked it.

she said she felt it was not worth it to her and now it is no longer for sale.

I do not have the app so I do not have an opinion on whether it is worth it or not...but I kind of feel responsible for her post she she got her info from me.

here is what the website for e ticket says:

NOTICE: 1/1/2010 - We have been alerted to a major bug in eTicket that activated today, the first day of 2010. Our date 'picker' inside the app did not handle the year change and does not function correctly. The app will not display any date entry options now and will crash when you try and enter a date in the Itinerary or DVC Calculator.

We are disappointed beyond words by this news and are working feverishly with the programming team and Apple to quickly update the app. We have removed the app from sale on the iTunes App Store until this bug is fixed.

We understand and appreciate your frustration and ask that you have patience while we address this problem and make sure it doesn't happen again.


A temporary work-around is to go into your iPhone Settings>General>Date & Time> Turn off "Set Automatically" and any date in 2009. You can then return to eTicket and enter the dates you want. Go back to Date & Time and turn back on Set Automatically.

Hey Folks -

Sorry for all the confusion so I will try and clear some of it up.

-eTicket had a bug that activated January 1.
-We pulled the app from the STORE ONLY while we fixed this, so existing copies will keeping working as normal
-The only part of eTicket affected is the ability to select dates (itinerary setup, DVC calculator, hotel and flight info) - everything else continues to work including the map, browse, park hours, and DISboards
-The app will be fully for sale again either this week or next
-We're not abandoning the app or tech support or our current users

Understandably, users that downloaded the app in the last few days of 2009 are going to have a very poor first impression of the app because from their perspective "it doesn't work". Those that have had it for awhile know that it did work fine previous to 2010. We disabled the app and hid all the DISboards ads for it because we specifically don't want anybody to have a bad first experience. A few inevitably will and we'll have to handle that the best we can under the circumstances.

So again I apologize for the bug and the confusion/anger surrounding it and ask for your patience and understanding while we work to set everything right again. Trust me...it wasn't a pleasant New Years Day waking up to discover the app blew up.

Alright, we're back in the iTunes App Store. v1.20 is available is fixes our 2010 date picker bug and upgrades support for additional DISboards login special characters.
