Dontcha just love these? I'm not looking for a firm right or wrong, just additional thoughts on the topic.

Last trip we bought the Photopass CD. On one picture of our whole bunch in front of the castle (the best shot of the people in our group), there's a very noticable dark fuzzy spot in the sky just to the right of the castle. What's your opinion on making a copy of this file and removing said imperfection for printing an 8x10?

Kinda screams copyright violation to me, but I'm not using it commercially and I'm not sharing it with anyone (i.e. posting online or using it for our Christmas card) so I think I will and live life as a fugitive :smokin:

If I am not mistaken, when you purchase the Photopass CD, you also purchase the rights to those photos. They are yours to do with as you please. If you would like to apply a little Photoshop "Magic", it is up to you.

If I have this wrong, someone please correct me, but based upon the agreement from our last Photopass CD, this was correct as of May of 2007.

Before I purchased the Photopass CD, I specifically emailed that question to Photopass regarding my own edits. The answer is that once you purchased the CD, you're free to edit with your own software.:thumbsup2

I would ask Disney to fly the whole bunch back and get a free day in the Magic Kingdom so the picture could be retaken without the very noticable dark fuzzy spot in the sky. ::yes::
